MINDCAF Amazons in perfect harmony with Minister Henri Eyebe Ayissi
On the 8th of March, in the conference room of the Centre Regional Council, Minister Henri EYEBE AYISSI and his collaborators took part in the annual celebrations to mark this day dedicated to women.
The ceremony began with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by the Women's Song. After this usual performance, the floor was given to Mrs KAMGANG Constante Clarisse, Chairperson of the Gender Focal Team at MINDCAF. In her speech, she thanked Minister Henri EYEBE AYISSI for all the consideration he gives to women working at MINDCAF.
In fact, five (5) out of 13 appointed Directors and Officials ranking as such, are women, representing more than the 30% required by international organisations.
Reacting to this, the Minister expressed his delight for being with his female collaborators and encouraged them to forge ahead, so as to honour the Ministry of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure with their hard work. He also hailed their efforts to promote women's empowerment in general. The minister added while he is sure that his female collaborators are counting on him, he is aware that he can also count on them.
This was followed by a musical interlude by Blacky Star, which brought all the women on their feet, before the award of special gifts. Among those honoured was Mrs KAMGANG Constante Clarisse, Chairperson of the Gender Focal Team at MINDCAF, who was honoured by her fellow female colleagues.
Subsequently, the outstanding staff were each awarded special gifts. This clearly demonstrated the actual inclusion of women in this institution. A joyful and happy group photo to immortalise the event and a cocktail offered by the Super Coach, Minister Henri EYEBE AYISSI, brought this wonderful day and evening dedicated to the Celebration of Women to a close.
