Audience at MINDCAF LAND MANAGEMENT AT THE CENTRE OF CAMRAIL–MINDCAF DISCUSSIONS
On 11 March 2026, the Minister of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure, Henri Eyebe Ayissi, granted an audience to the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the newly appointed General Manager of Camrail.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the challenges associated with the company’s new management approach, as well as on issues affecting the partnership between MINDCAF and the railway operator. Particular attention was given to land tenure and State property matters related to the operation of the railway network, including the safeguarding of the company’s land assets.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore ways of strengthening cooperation between the Ministry of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure and Camrail, in a context marked by a shared commitment to consolidating governance and optimising the management of railway corridors across the country.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining a constructive dialogue, with a view to improving the management of land-related challenges associated with the development of railway transport in Cameroon.
