MINDCAF’s “Amazons” Equipped with Land Management Skills
On 2 March 2026, MINDCAF’s “Amazons” gathered in the conference room of the Ministry of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure (MINDCAF), in Ministerial Building No. 2, to brainstorm on the theme: “Equitable Access by Women to Land and Landed Property: A Lever for Social Justice and Economic Empowerment”.
The aim of these discussions was to raise awareness among women regarding the importance of obtaining land certificates, specifically to ensure the legal security of lands they develop. The Inspector General, Chair of the Gender Focal Team at MINDCAF, reminded the participants that “women possess the same land rights as men.” In line with the implementation of this law, MINDCAF granted 5,822 land certificates to women across Cameroon in 2025.

Multi-talented Amazons
This was the defining spirit of the Cultural Day held in a build-up to the International Women’s Day, presided over by His Excellency Henri Eyebe Ayissi on 5 March 2026, at the esplanade of Ministerial Building No. 2.
A “Fashion Week”-inspired podium showcased the dynamic women of the Ministry of Property, Surveys and Land Tenure (MINDCAF), with the Gender Focal Point, Mrs Constante Kamgang leading the show as the prominent model.
MINDCAF’s Amazons showcased an impressive range of talents in their various performances, stepping into roles as caterers, poets, entrepreneurs, performers and fashion models. The day aimed to strengthen unity among personnel while highlighting the essential role women play in society.
Moreover, the much-advocated equality is also reflected in the recognition and celebration of our identities, our cultures and the richness of our diversity.
